Corwin's story

Build the stage, then invite people onto it.

Corwin Belnap is a singer, producer, marketer and host from East Idaho. He grew up the oldest of seven in a family that performed at every reunion, and found the stage the year he couldn't play sports.

Today he runs Happy Valley Productions, TicketLaunch and Saints in the Spotlight, and sings with The Belnaps. Here is how he got here.

From East Idaho

  1. 2001

    Born in Pocatello

    Pocatello, Idaho

Born in Pocatello, Idaho, and raised moving around Southeast Idaho. No single childhood home, and that is the point: East Idaho is home. Oldest of seven kids, 60 cousins on his dad's side, and a family reunion program every year: skits, songs, everybody performing.

  2. 2016-17

Corwin smiling from a hospital bed during his knee recovery

    The year everything flipped

An MRI that summer showed he had torn his ACL the previous football season. No sports freshman year. The family had just moved, so no friends either. He auditioned for the fall play, Blithe Spirit, and got the lead. Then the winter show, Into the Woods. Then the spring melodrama. Three leads, and he never really left the stage after that.

  3. March 2018

The Belnap Boys singing into microphones in a school gym

    The Belnap Boys are born

The brothers and cousins got together and performed as a group for the first time: an oldies medley at a throwback school dance (Can't Help Falling in Love, Earth Angel, Duke of Earl). They have kept doing it ever since. The seed of The Belnaps.

  4. 2020-22

Corwin as a missionary, kneeling in front of a Be the Change butterfly mural

    Indiana

He served an LDS mission to Indiana. For six months of it, he served as the mission's social media specialist. His first exposure to the digital marketing world, years before he knew it was a career.

  5. January 2023

    The major change

He started college as a musical theatre major. Midway through the first semester, he changed his major to marketing and business. The stage was not going anywhere, but he had found the other thing he was built for.

  6. May 2025

    The leap

He took a chance on himself and submitted his name to be GENTRI's Digital Marketing Associate. He got the job. First marketing job in the music industry: the music and the business, finally in the same place.

  7. January 2026

    Happy Valley becomes official

He formalized Happy Valley Collective LLC, the legal entity behind everything that followed: Happy Valley Productions for concerts, TicketLaunch for marketing.

  8. January 2026

Corwin and Liahona Olayan recording an episode of Saints in the Spotlight

    Saints in the Spotlight

The first episode of the podcast drops, featuring Liahona Olayan. Conversations with Christians working in the entertainment industry, about the work and the faith behind it.

  9. May 2026

The TicketLaunch logo: a golden ticket angled upward like a rocket, above the word TICKETLAUNCH in white on black

    Shark Tank, then goodbye

He won the ISU Shark Tank pitch competition with TicketLaunch. Then, after transferring to ISU the previous semester, he dropped out of college. School was distracting from the work, and the work was winning. The education had done its job. Doing was the job now.

  10. December 2026

Evie Clair Christmas poster: Colonial Theatre, Idaho Falls, December 1, 2026, featuring Keagan Park, Halfy and Winks, and The Belnaps

    The first concert

    Colonial Theatre, Idaho Falls

He interviewed Evie Clair on Saints in the Spotlight, and the idea landed: produce a Christmas concert with her as the headliner. December 1, 2026, Evie Clair Christmas at the Colonial Theatre in Idaho Falls. His first self-produced concert, with many more to come. The timeline ends mid-story, because that is where he is.

  11. 2027 and beyond

The CJB monogram in cream letters over a grainy gradient of plum, rust, sage green and slate blue

    Still building

More concerts under Happy Valley Productions. More artists selling out rooms with TicketLaunch. More conversations on Saints in the Spotlight. And his own music, on his own stages, with The Belnaps beside him. The plan has not changed since the piano showed up in 2003: build the stage, then invite people onto it.
